Situation

Create an administrator role for NordicEdge Identity Manager

 with the following policies:

BASEDN (TOP in the folder structure)

LOAD_TAB (should point to where in the folder structure the Tab forms resides)

Enable_Raw_Edit_Menu (True)

Solution

Create an administrators role by right clicking the container where you want the role to reside and choose to create a new global group.

Right click the new group – Object Properties. Under Object properties there are three tabs:

-       Group manager, here the owner of the group is set.

-       Group members, here are the members to the group added.

-       Policy manager, here is where the policies are set.

To set the BASEDN policy go to the Policy manager tab and browse to Policies – Security – Access Rights – BASEDN. Click browse to access the folder three…

…and mark the root catalogue. Press OK.

 4.   For the LOAD_TAB policy browse to Polices – Security – Tab Access Rights – LOAD_TAB. Click browse to access the folder three and mark the catalogue where the tab forms are saved. 

Press OK.

5. Enable Raw_Edit_Menu by browsing to the policy, Polices – Security – Enable_Raw_Edit_Menu. Set the value to “true” and press OK
